How do French fry vending machines work?
1. Storage of Ingredients
The machine is pre-loaded with frozen French fries (semi-finished products, not raw potatoes).
To keep them fresh and safe, the machine usually has a built-in freezer or cooling system.
2. Ordering and Payment
Customers select their desired product on the screen (regular fries, fries with sauce, etc.) and pay via coins, card, or QR code.
3. Automatic Frying
After payment, the machine automatically releases a portion of frozen fries into a small frying basket.
The basket is immersed in hot oil at a set temperature (usually 170–180°C), frying the fries until golden and crispy.
4. Draining and Seasoning
Once fried, the fries are lifted out to drain excess oil.
The machine may automatically sprinkle salt or provide sauce packets (like ketchup or mayonnaise).

5. Serving
The fries are dispensed into a disposable cup or box and delivered to the customer through a serving hatch.
The process is fully enclosed, ensuring hygiene and food safety.
6. Safety and Maintenance
The machine includes oil temperature controls, fire safety systems, and scheduled cleaning cycles.
Oil needs to be replaced periodically, and the freezer section requires restocking.
