How does a outdoor pizza vending machine work?
Outdoor pizza vending machines deliver hot pizza on demand through a sophisticated automated process. It starts when a customer approaches the machine and uses its touchscreen interface to browse the menu and select their desired pizza type. Payment is typically handled electronically using cards or contactless methods.
Inside the machine, a refrigerated compartment holds numerous pre-assembled pizzas, often par-baked or prepared fresh and kept chilled for quality and safety. Once an order is placed and paid for, the machine's internal system identifies the chosen pizza. A robotic arm then activates, retrieving the selected cold pizza from its storage location.
This robotic arm transfers the pizza into an integrated high-speed oven. Utilizing technology like convection or infrared heating, the oven cooks the pizza rapidly, usually within 3 to 5 minutes, ensuring it's hot and thoroughly baked.
Following the cooking cycle, the robotic mechanism carefully removes the hot pizza from the oven and automatically slides it into a cardboard box, which is also stored and prepared within the machine. Finally, this freshly cooked, boxed pizza is transported to an external dispensing slot, where the customer can collect their order.
